Welcome to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC)! Our community, located in Milwaukee, is a gathering place for technical communicators to network, learn, exchange ideas and develop their careers. Our program season includes monthly meetings with speakers on a variety of topics, telephone seminars, mentoring opportunities, and workshops for members and visitors. From September to June, the chapter provides programs of interest to technical communicators. Our chapter supports a SIG focused on "Consultants & Independent Contractors" (contact: Kathie Gorski). SIGs serve to bring together people who have common experiences and interests and a willingness to share their skills and knowledge with each other and with other SIG members.
